Sudafest Fundraiser

This Sudafest Fundraiser event took place at the Fliwood Community Centre in Bristol. The primary goal of this event was to raise funds for the victims of war in Sudan, and we are proud to say that it was a resounding success.

Sudanese artists Ebo Krdum and Mustafa Khogali graced the stage, mesmerising the audience with their extraordinary musical talent. Their songs, which beautifully highlighted the beauty of Sudan and called for peace, resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. The powerful music of these artists fostered a sense of unity and solidarity among the audience, creating a truly memorable experience.

Adding an extra touch of magic, the talented children who had participated in preparation workshops joined Ebo and Mustafa on stage. Their heartfelt singing for peace in Sudan captivated everyone and further emphasised the importance of coming together for a noble cause.

Children at the event joyfully engaged in artistic endeavours, expressing their creativity through various art forms such as crafts and breakdancing. Their infectious energy filled the venue with laughter and smiles, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.

The charity markets, auctions, and raffle tickets added an exciting element to the event, generating a buzz of anticipation and enthusiasm. Attendees wholeheartedly participated, knowing that their contributions were making a meaningful difference for Sudan. In total, an incredible £1200 was raised, a testament to the generosity and compassion of our community. All proceeds were donated to the Sudanese Doctors Union of the UK, providing vital support to those affected by the war in Sudan.

This Sudafest fundraiser event was an unforgettable experience that seamlessly blended cultural celebration with charitable giving. It brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds, leaving a lasting impact and showcasing the immense power of unity and compassion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event.
